Classroom drawing activities
Emudraw gives every class the same four drawing prompts each day. Nothing to prepare, no materials beyond paper and a pencil, and every subject is school-safe: animals, plants, landscapes and everyday objects.
Six activities to try
Morning warm-up
5 minProject the day's word, give everyone 30 seconds, then hold the sketches up together. A calm way to start a lesson.
Observation practice
10 minShow the reference picture for five seconds, hide it, and draw from memory. Compare what everyone remembered.
Symmetry lesson
15 minHalf a shape is printed; pupils complete the mirror image. Pairs well with a maths symmetry unit.
Finish my picture
10 minEveryone starts from the same few strokes and finishes it differently. Good for talking about interpretation.
Vocabulary link
10 minUse the day's word in a sentence before drawing it. Works nicely for early readers and language classes.
Wet-play backup
anyPrint a stack of sheets at the start of the week and keep them by the door for indoor breaks.
Printable prompt sheets
Each day's prompts fit on the front of one page, with reference art and blank drawing boxes, in A4 or US Letter. A free sample sheet is available every day; the full sheet with all four games is part of Emudraw Plus.
